Out of Play
- Ball
must go into dugout to be ruled a dead ball; ball is live if it bounces
back into play after hitting – dugout overhang, black poles, and
concrete.
- Concrete
near dugout steps – draw a diagonal line from the back of concrete
to nearest pole of fence (everything in that space is out of play).
- Areas
where bottom of fence is open are – home plate gate, large gate near
1B and area near 3B where new fence meets old fence (near garbage cans).
